Christian Secondary School
Background
The quality of public education at elementary and high school levels in Malawi is severely lacking. One large contributing factor is that there is the lack of sufficient government support in terms of finances, resources, teachers, etc. There is also a lack of well-trained teachers to teach in the schools. In fact, there is no secondary school in Dzuwa village. The nearby government and private secondary schools fail to provide a quality education.
Plan
JTW is committed to providing high quality education to children and young people in Dzuwa village and beyond. Besides providing a general high school education, JTW is also committed to providing extensive and excellent vocational training to equip the children and the young people in Dzuwa to become independent and productive citizens. This program will offer such skills as the following among others: computer skills, building, carpentry, agriculture, etc.
